What exactly is an Original Wedding Intro?

An Original Wedding Intro is a professionally produced audio introduction that’s custom-made to kick off your wedding reception in style. Think of it as your own personal hype reel—blending music, storytelling, and an energetic voiceover that announces your wedding party and builds the excitement before you make your entrance.

How does it work?

There are 4 main steps to your Intro.

  1. Order Online: Purchase your intro easily through our website.

  2. Share Your Details: Complete a simple form with your wedding info, names, and any special touches you’d like included.

  3. Production: We create your custom audio intro, professionally mixed and polished.

  4. Delivery: You receive your finished intro via email or download link—ready to play on your big day.

What can be included in the intro?

Your intro can feature:

  • The names of the newlyweds

  • Wedding party introductions (bridesmaids, groomsmen, etc.)

  • Your chosen music

  • Personal messages, jokes, or shout-outs

  • Special announcements (like a free round of drink courtesy of the parents, or first dance clue)

If you’re unsure what to include, we’re happy to guide you and you'll receive previous intros and samples to give you inspiration!

How long does it take to receive my intro?

The first demo intros are delivered within 5–7 days from when you send us all the required information.

The aim is to have your intro a month in advance of the big day but we often accommodate rush orders. 5 working days is the minimum required.

Can I pick the music?

Absolutely! It's your wedding so start the party to someone else's favourite song? Music is a huge part of setting the mood and starting the craic! You can request any track you like. Whether it's heavy metal or old school trad, we’ll mix it seamlessly with your a professionally recorded intro voiceover.

How do I play the intro at my wedding?

Your intro comes as a high-quality MP3 file. You can:

  • Email it to your Wedding Coordinator.

    • You can also email to hotel manager, DJ or band

  • Play it directly from a laptop or phone

  • Load it onto a USB key

Venues love this service as all they have to do is just press play. We recommend testing it in advance to be sure everything sounds perfect.

What if I want changes after I receive my intro?

No problem—unlimited revisions are included (like name pronunciation adjustments or timing tweaks). Sometimes a song choice might change or the wedding party lineup may be altered in the lead up to the big day. Any alterations can be made up to withing 3 days of the big day. Some couples have had zero revisions while others have had 10+. Our mission is to give you the best start to your wedding possible and will always work with you to make sure you love the final product.

How much does it cost?

Our standard price is €200, which includes:

  • Full custom production

  • Your choice of music

  • One round of revisions
